Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Manager

Job Location: Torrance, CA

Salary Range: $150,000 - 170,000 DoE

Responsibilities

• Create, manage and execute a comprehensive sourcing strategy that aligns with the company's objectives

• Lead material cost reduction efforts to meet annual cost reduction goals.

• Lead efforts on 2nd sourcing for critical suppliers.

• Develop and manage key supplier relationships, conduct supplier reviews to ensure suppliers are meeting commitments.

• Lead the management of key suppliers’ performance management by utilizing QBRs, Scorecards, Supplier Improvement Plans, etc.

• Develop and maintain key supplier management data to support regular reporting and analysis to support the business.

• Coordinate with the acquisition manager and buying professionals to ensure that the supply base meets the organization’s quality, cost and delivery targets.

• Negotiate blanket pricing and long-term agreements as needed to support the supply chain strategy and stakeholders.

• Optimize/streamline supply chain sourcing processes to improve efficiency across the sourcing/acquisition workflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field

• 10+ years’ Experience in supply chain related role

• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

• Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word)

• Knowledge of ERP/MRP and inventory management systems/software

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to address audiences at varying levels.

• Strong project leadership and/or management skills in a fast-paced environment with hanging priorities, and an ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• APICS certification

• Strategic Sourcing experience

• Blanke and Long-Term agreements experience
