Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Scrum Master in our team based in Torrance, CA. This role is in the automotive industry, where you will be responsible for leading our innovative Data Analytics project. You will facilitate team collaboration and deliver high quality data analytics solutions to drive our business forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Monitor the progress of tasks and ensure they are on track.

  • Allocate resources effectively to ensure tasks are completed on time.

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and next steps.

  • Assist team members in resolving any impediments they encounter.

  • Improve project processes and team performance continually.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a Scrum Master role. Experience in data analytics projects is a plus.

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification. PMP Certification is a plus.

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence), data analytics platforms (e.g. Power BI), and cloud services (e.g. AWS).

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in the automotive and motorcycle OEM industry is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Practical experience: You must have practical experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban.

  • Data analytics: Experience in leveraging data analytics to drive business decisions is essential. You should understand how to interpret data and translate insights into actionable business strategies.

  • Proficiency with tools: You should be proficient with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and platforms (e.g., AWS, SAP). Experience in integrating these tools with existing business systems is necessary.

  • Scrum Master Duties: We require you to have experience in facilitating daily stand-up meetings to review progress, organize and lead sprint planning sessions, and conduct sprint reviews and retrospectives to discuss project progression.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency is required in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), data analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI), and cloud services (e.g., AWS)

  • Project Management: You should be able to develop comprehensive project plans that outline tasks, timelines, resources, and milestones while ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Regular updates and detailed reports providing stakeholders with insights into progress, challenges, and solutions should be a major part of your skillset.
