Mercury Systems Inventory Control Specialist in Torrance, California

You will be responsible for the overall preparation of kits prior to the production floor which includes all material transactions, material movement, storage, and inventory - storage practices. You are responsible for this role * Sort, counts and checks raw materials, finished and semi-finished parts * Handles raw materials in compliance with internal Electrostatic Discharge Policies and Procedures * Issues material to WO/MO and follows Bill of Material and Work Order Routing * Responsible for inventory accuracy at all levels. Maintains inventory on hand and stockroom data files * Performs required cycle counts. Audits stocking locations to ensure system transaction accuracy. Performs physical inventories as required * Understanding of aerospace components * Understands and can research and reconcile Inventory * Stores electronic components properly and has an understanding of MSD components * Validates previous transactions for discrepancies and ensures internal specifications are met and traceability requirements are 100% accurate * Ensures Kit preparation are in compliance of Standards and internal documentation * Regular attendance is required * May occasionally be required to work overtime Required Qualification: * HS Diploma or GED required * 3-5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Basic reading and writing (English language) and math ability are required * Computer literate * Microsoft Excel skills * Strong Background in material handling/stockroom Manufacturing Experience Preferred Qualification: * Inventory reconciliation experience * Interpersonal skills * Detail oriented, organizational, and multi-tasking skills * Provide guidance and training to less experienced staff * Support stockroom operations to ensure smooth flow process * Perform multiple tasks within the stockroom Full-Time Equivalent Annual Salary Range: $41,800 - $83,600 for a Level II at Torrance CA USA. The disclosed salary range is a general guideline for Mercury team members employed at the job level at the location listed above and does not include overtime for eligible hourly employees.
