Overview

THE ROLE:

Herbalife Nutrition is standing up a Digital Office to prioritize, run, and implement enterprise-wide digital initiatives. In this newly crafted position, the Director of Product Management will be responsible for running the people and teams that conceptualize and deliver high-quality digital experiences for Herbalife Distributors and their customers. The role provides ongoing leadership for the strategic direction of the products, ensuring and measuring for value creation. Additionally, the Director will lead all aspects of the Platform product team responsible for AEM, Coveo, Salesforce, and other relevant platforms.

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:

  • Lead all aspects of product strategy; serve as the voice of the distributor/consumer while negotiating and aligning to meet business goals.

  • Lead multiple teams responsible for all parts of the end-to-end management of products and services across the entire product lifecycle, regularly presenting the value stream vision, strategy, and direction to the teams.

  • Own the Platform product team to ensure successful implementation and integration of AEM, Coveo, Salesforce, and other platforms.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate multiple platforms, crafting seamless digital experiences.

  • Drive value stream objectives, handle intake of new product requests, and work across value stream leadership to rationalize the entire product portfolio for highest user success.

  • Define and align objectives and key results and Product Roadmap for the value stream.

  • Provide regular updates about product direction, vision, goals, and release plans for the product/portfolio to senior team members.

  • Measure results and ensure products are delivered on schedule within the agreed-upon budget.

  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.

  • Manage relationships with vendors and third-party providers to ensure successful delivery and integration of platform solutions.

WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT THE TEAM:

This team will play a meaningful role in driving the growth and success of the company's digital products. The ideal candidate will be a strategic problem solver, a strong communicator, and a results-driven leader with a passion for customer success.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads all aspects of product strategy; serves as the voice of the consumer while negotiating and aligning to meet business goals

  • Lead a team of product managers, product owners, and functional analysts to complete the product strategy with 5 direct reports.

  • Lead all aspects of the Platform product team responsible for AEM, Coveo, Salesforce, and other platforms.

  • Lead all aspects of the collective output (product/timeline) of cross-functional teams (UX, Dev, QA, Analytics) dedicated to their Value Stream.

  • 5-8 direct reports.

Qualifications

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Minimum of 10 years in product design or other roles developing experiences for consumers.

  • Experience leading product managers and product owners.

  • In-depth knowledge of AEM (Adobe Experience Manager), Coveo, Salesforce, and other relevant platforms.

  • Proven understanding of APIs and integration techniques.

  • Ability to strategically prioritize digital project roadmaps and prioritise multiple opposing high-priority projects with varying deadlines.

  • An understanding of digital distributor-facing and consumer-facing businesses with a strong grasp of IT and digital trends.

  • Data-driven with strong analytical and cross-group collaboration skills to bring the organization to consensus on decisions on both short and long-term product plans.

  • Ability to analyze business requirements, identify gaps, and define solutions to address sophisticated business challenges.

  • Ability to identify, handle, and supervise dependencies across teams and initiatives to handle risk and produce outcomes in alignment with commitments.

  • Ability to responsibly supervise and handle multi-million-dollar budgets.

  • Innovation-driven mentality with a passion for process improvement, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.

  • Strong managerial skills with the ability to develop and empower others.

  • Ability to interact optimally with individuals from different countries and cultures with a sensitivity to cultural diversity.

  • Experience building and managing teams that deliver reliable products that scale to millions of users.

  • Comfortable driving successful delivery through a large geographically disparate team comprised of internal employees and contingent resources.

  • Occasional travel required.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, Engineering or a related field. Equivalent experience and PM certifications are interchangeable
