THE POSITION

As a Development Program Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing development programs as a part of the Bell FLRAA development effort. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring the progress of various development initiatives to ensure successful outcomes. Your strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, leadership, and technical teams, will be essential in driving the growth and success of our development programs.

You will report directly to our FLRAA Sr. Program Manager and you'll work out of our 34th street Honeywell Phoenix Engines site. This position will require a combination of on-site and remote work.

In this role, you will have a direct impact on the professional growth and development of our employees, as well as the overall success of our organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement plans for development program execution

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor program health

  • Oversee the execution of development programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives

  • Monitor the progress of development initiatives and provide regular updates to stakeholders

  • Manage program budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective program delivery

  • Adhere to the Honeywell IPDS process and manage a execute the necessary phase gate reviews

  • Facilitate and ensure forecast accuracy monthly

  • Monitor and report on monthly variance to plan

  • Ensure accurate resource loading to plan

  • Work closely with the development engineering team leaders to ensure program execution to plan

  • Work with the FLRAA Sr PM to identify change and ensure customer change is managed

  • Understand and identify scope change

  • Understand and be able to identify key schedule risks and ensure risk is minimized

  • Manage and report on program risk and opportunities

  • Facilitate development of WBS and WBS dictionaries.

  • Process and provide monthly EVS updates based on program execution

  • Manage OPSEC and CUI adherence.

  • Manage SDRL and data rights adherence

  • IMS review and management

  • Execute on the monthly MOS and ensure teams are generating program data in a timely manner

U.S. CITIZEN REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Incentive Eligible

  • Salary Range: $130,000 - $163,000

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management or related field

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change

  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities

  • Ability to craft and deliver key messages at all levels of leadership

  • Experience in the Aerospace Industry

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field

  • Experience in managing development programs in a global organization

  • Knowledge of best practices in talent development and employee engagement

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus

  • Experience with military based programs

  • Implementation and maintenance of OPSEC on development efforts

  • Understanding of Honeywell tools and processes

  • Expert in Earned Value Management

  • Provide guidance & Coaching to peers and team members
