Job Title: Assembler- 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift!!

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. This role involves assembly and packaging tasks using hand tools, reading blueprints and work instructions, and counting inventory. The ideal candidate will have experience in a light industry or manufacturing environment and be comfortable with mechanical assembly and the use of power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble various size cases that store expensive equipment such as cameras.

• Add foam to each case.

• Assemble mid-size flashlights.

• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.

• Use small drills, hammers, and operate a rivet machine for packaging.

• Count and manage inventory.

• Taping and packaging boxes.

• Lift and handle items weighing between 7-35 lbs.

• Operate pallet jacks and automated shrink wrap machines.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, light industry, or general labor.

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

• Ability to read technical drawings and work orders.

• Mechanical assembly skills.

• Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Work Environment

You will work in a clean environment, assembling various size heavy-duty cases for lighting accessories, cameras, and other equipment. The position involves lifting items between 7-35 lbs and using tools such as small drills, hammers, and rivet machines. Safety glasses, gloves, and an orange vest are provided. You must bring your own steel-toed boots. Training will be provided for operating pallet jacks and automated shrink wrap machines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.75/hr.
