Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the manufacturing industry based in Torrance, California. The role primarily involves processing and maintaining customer credit records, conducting collections, and providing administrative support.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and record checks received using a computerized accounting system

• Conduct regular collection calls and emails on past due accounts

• Maintain a log of collection efforts for past due accounts

• Research and follow up on all outstanding invoices

• Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers regarding discrepancies

• Provide customers with billing statements monthly and credit copies when requested

• Follow up on outstanding chargebacks and discrepancy items for resolution

• Ensure accuracy and strong attention to detail in all tasks

• Use computerized systems to input information with speed and accuracy

• Provide clerical support including filing, scanning, and other administrative tasks. Requirements • Proficient in Cash Applications

• Extensive experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to accurately Enter Invoices

• Experience in Collections

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant accounting software

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles

• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation

• Experience working in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
