\ WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER

You will work with the video team on production support, including footage and music research for video projects, story research, and fact-checking. Reporting to the Producer/Editor, your primary role will be helping with the management of our video library, identifying best footage and creating curated packages of b-roll. By the end of the internship, you will have created packages based on defined conservation topics.

Depending on your skills and our project roster, you may have the opportunity to film and edit footage.

If you\'re organized, motivated, and exceptional at managing project deadlines, we\'d love you to join us this summer and learn about video production and conservation from a small, creative team that produces short documentaries, ads, and social media videos.

As the Video Intern, you will:

  • Identify the best shots from our library for specific video projects
  • Create packages of b-roll based on organizational priorities
  • Find appropriate music for video projects
  • Research stories for script development and shoot pre-production
  • Fact check and proofread edited videos

\ WE\'RE LOOKING FOR YOU

Are you passionate about visual storytelling? Do you love good videography and understand how different shots are used in video production? Can you spot a powerful shot, moment, or piece of audio? If you love discovering the images and sounds that can tell a compelling story, we have a great opportunity in the Marketing and Communications Division (MAC).

Join our video production team for a paid 10-week summer internship: by assisting our in-house production team, you\'ll gain hands-on experience and real-world production skills.

The intern can be an undergraduate student, graduate student, or recent graduate (between 2023 and 2024). This position is home-based in the Unite States and will provide a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between academics and real-world work.
