Maintenance Technician

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00

Location: Tonawanda, NY

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, painting, flooring, drywall, carpentry, and HVAC. You will be responsible for making ready/turnover units, apartment renovation and demolition, as well as preventative maintenance. You will also be required to perform emergency on-call services for after-hours maintenance-related issues and assist with various projects to improve lives through real estate.

Responsibilities

• Make ready/turnover units

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, painting, flooring, drywall, carpentry, and HVAC

• Conduct apartment renovation and demolition

• Perform preventative maintenance

• Provide emergency on-call services for after-hours maintenance-related issues

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent drywall or plumbing skills

• Working understanding of trades to install light fixtures, switches, outlets, toilets, sinks, plumbing lines, etc.

• Skilled at organizing work, managing time, and following through on details

• Any additional certification (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) will be considered an advantage
