What you will enjoy doing

  • Your responsibility is to review client specifications and prepare, coordinate, review, and distribute estimates in accordance with the established workflow and work instructions
  • Execute estimating activities for all proposals and estimates in a business-like, efficient, productive, and organized manner
  • Further, you will develop "Conceptual" construction cost estimates with limited design information
  • You will prepare lists of quantities of field work for estimating the construction requirements of a project
  • Conduct detailed reviews of all estimates generated internally, develop action plans for deficiencies, and ensure follow-through
  • In addition, you will review construction bid documentation, identify key areas of risk, and develop plans to address each
  • Secure the necessary assistance from proposals, projects, design, engineering, and/or other Linde Group entities to ensure the technical compliance and strategy on a specific proposal is sound, complete, and of best value
  • Document technical/commercial discussions and agreements from inception through award to ensure a seamless transition from sales to execution
  • You will coordinate and consolidate material and labor values for all estimates into approved Linde Engineering formats and reports

What makes you great

  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, P& ID, and customer bids
  • Advanced knowledge of Aspen Capital Cost Estimator or any other cost tool
  • AACE Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) certification (preferred but not required)
  • You have the capacity to identify design gaps and work closely with any resources to correct issues
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Software and other estimation specific software
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Salary Pay Range: 75000 USD - 90000 USD
