Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall management of multiple marketing terminals across a geographic area that are involved in the receipt, storage, and delivery of gasoline, distillates, and other liquids. Manage terminal workforce (union/non union mix) for safe, efficient, economical product distribution at each location. Responsible to participate in the resolution of labor relations and employee relation issues. Assist the Sr. Director of Midstream East Terminals and peer area managers by filling in during vacation/special assignments. Responsibilities include leading, mentoring, and developing Terminal Managers, and Terminal Supervisors as they plan, organize, and execute all activities at assigned terminals to ensure safe, reliable, and environmentally excellent operations. Must be able to operate in an efficient, and economical manner consistent with customer service requirements, operating goals, and financial results. Ensure consistent use of procedures and practices across geographical areas by working with peer area managers and regional support groups including HES and Tech Services. Prepare and administer the capital and expense budget for respective geographical region. Available 24/7 for emergency response and operational needs. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent terminal supervision experience. 10+ years of relevant work experience. Experience leading teams in terminal operations, product quality oversight, inventory management, maintenance procedures and employee performance goals. An excellent Customer Service mindset and able to communicate with various levels within the organization including: Engineering, Business Development, and Scheduling. A minimum 7 - 10 years of leadership experience with in the transportation or logistics industry. Knowledge of industry safety practices and relevant codes. The ability to develop and present multiple alternatives to an individual problem or situation. Strong verbal and written communications skills; good organizational skills. Must possess excellent computer analytical skills, (Microsoft Office: WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, ACCESS, MS Project, etc.) SAP , a plus. Must be a strong team leader as well as an active team member. Willingness to work a flexible schedule. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of marine dock operations, truck and rail transport loading and unloading operations, and pipeline operations, preferred. Knowledge of company procedures and policies, a plus.
