ProMedica Health System RN Coordinator - PPG Cardiology - Full Time in Toledo, Ohio

The Structural Heart clinic is a cardiology sub-specialty clinic located at the Toledo Hospital. Our team of experts are highly trained in the evaluation and treatment of structural heart diseases including valvular heart disease (i.e. TAVR, MitraClip) as well as evaluation for left atrial appendage occlusion (i.e. Watchman), percutaneous PFO closure, and several other less common structural heart abnormalities. We work in close collaboration with CT surgery as well as other cardiology sub-specialties, anesthesia, and radiology. The RN coordinator in our clinic plays an integral role in patient throughput and ensuring every patient gets the care plan recommended for them by our multi-disciplinary team in a timely fashion.

Graduation from accredited Nursing Program.

Skills:

Excellent organizational skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, dependable and motivated. Must be able to work autonomously. Working knowledge of office based regulatory requirements. Problem solving and critical thinking. Flexible with hours to meet the needs of department. The coordinator must be able to work through the office and hospital based electronic health records. Demonstrated ability to communicate with medical and administrative staff and patients, excellent understanding levels of care.

Years of Experience: 1 year of relatable or equivalent experience.

License: Active Registered Nurse License in state of assigned practices.

Certification: ACLS and BLS certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Skills: EPIC experience.

Years of Experience: 2+ years relatable experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical Demands: Frequent Sitting and computer use.
