Reports to: LOA Process Lead Span of Control: Individual Contributor JOB RESPONSIBILITIES LOA Process Administration Assist in the coordination and management of the leave of absence programs, including tracking and documenting employee leaves, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and maintaining accurate records. Serve as a point of contact for employees and medical case managers regarding leave of absence policies, procedures, and documentation requirements. Respond to inquiries, provide guidance, and facilitate communication between employees, managers, and the LOA Case Managers. Maintain confidential employee records related to leaves of absence, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with privacy regulations. Prepare and process necessary documentation, such as leave applications, medical certifications, and return-to-work forms. Assist in the administration of various types of leave, including medical leave, parental leave, short- and long-term disability leave, FMLA and other applicable leaves as per company policies and legal requirements. This may involve reviewing leave requests, determining eligibility, coordinating with HR and payroll, and monitoring leave durations. Stay updated on relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to leaves of absence, such as the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) or the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Work closely with the HR department, benefits team, payroll team, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and integration of leave programs with other HR processes. Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, or streamlining of leave administration tasks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Licensing, Credentialing and Development Obtains and maintains necessary continuing education credit hours and training as required by state and certifying agencies Participates in health conferences/meetings as needed for personal development and advancement JOB REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma. 4-6 years of administrative experience.
