ProMedica Health System Fitness Floor Trainer - Wildwood Athletic Club - Part Time - Variable in Toledo, Ohio

The Fitness Floor Trainer will provide fitness equipment orientations to members and guests; meet/greet all members and assist with their daily workouts as requested. As well as perform fitness assessments and offer educational information for members, guests and participants events. Facilitate clinical exercise programs as needed.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Provide fitness equipment orientations to members and guests; meet/greet all members and assist with their daily workouts as requested Provide fitness assessments and educational information for members, guests and partnering events Complete all required daily fitness floor activities, cleaning responsibilities, equipment safety checks, log sheets and reporting Maintain member/prospective member workout records including Epic documentation, complete excel spreadsheets, and maintain proper documentation in all clinical exericse program files. Actively promote club programs and activities to members and prospective members Follow all general club/company policies and procedures as outlined Position may include early mornings, nights, and weekends.All Trainers must attend all scheduled meetings Accept and complete any assignment deemed appropriate by the Fitness Manager, Operations Manager or any other manager

Education: Have a four-year degree in a fitness, health or fitness related field (exercise, science, kinesiology, and health promotion)

Skills:

Good computer skills and tracking/reporting for payroll Solid foundation/competent skills in exercise testing/assessments

Years of Experience: 1 year personal training experience and clinical exercise experience working with specialized populations.

Certification:

Be certified to train through ACE, ACSM, NSCA, NASM, or working toward successful completion of certification within 3 months after hire. Be CPR/AED certified
