Cimarron is seeking

Warehouse Logistics Representatives

to support the Mobile Launcher 2 (ML2) program at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The ML2 will be used, like the first mobile launcher, as the platform for assembling and testing the Space Launch System (SLS) in the Vehicle Assembly Building at the Kennedy Space Center, transporting the rocket to Launch Complex 39B, and supporting the vehicle's launch. The platform includes various interfaces for fueling the rocket, providing power and data, and a crew access arm.

Although these positions support a 6-month contract, these positions are full-time/benefited (i.e. PTO, 401(k), insurance) positions with Cimarron.

Key Duties:

  • Direct physical counts and inspections of arriving materials, review Material Receiving Reports (MRRs), and ensure proper documentation for over, short, and damaged conditions.
  • Oversee preparation and accuracy of purchase orders, commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading; maintain and audit inventory, control, and property records (manual or automated).
  • Supervise material storage per project plans, record storage locations, and conduct timely physical inventories to ensure valid records.
  • Oversee preparation of shipping documents and surplus materials disposal as approved by project management.
  • Provide direction and on-the-job training to assigned personnel to ensure compliance with procedures and best practices.
  • Administer property control programs, including custody of project materials, tool crib inventory management, and equipment inspection and register maintenance.
  • Audit data for accuracy and timeliness, generate reports/graphs, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the Government Property Management Manual.
  • Maintain control registers for industrial gas bottles, returnable reels, containers, and construction equipment.
  • Support materials protection programs and perform additional duties for compliance with approved property management systems.
  • Perform tasks related to receipt inspection and other Supplier Quality and Materials Management Department duties as assigned. :::

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Experience in the specialized area of construction material management.
  • Proficiency in planning, personnel guidance, and knowledge of procedures concerning shipping, receipt, storage, and issue of construction materials and the administration of documentation associated with these actions.
  • Experience and knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience or knowledge of BPS or another material management system.
  • Experience in controlling on-site Min-Max inventories, consignments, and on-site service contractors.
  • Knowledge of Bechtel policies and ability to interpret contract language.
  • Basic knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 45 and applicable Agency Supplements.
  • Basic understanding of governmental contracts and the flow-down of applicable clauses and requirements.
  • Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) certification through the National Property Management Association (NPMA).
