Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated On-Site PC Technician to provide comprehensive technical support within our manufacturing plant. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software systems to ensure seamless operations on the production line and in office environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deskside Support : Setup, configure, install, and maintain desktop computers and peripherals for end users in both production and office settings.

• Technical Assistance: Provide technical support for computers, phones, and printers to production and office personnel.

• Network Management: Implement and maintain network servers, including managing active directory accounts.

• Break/Fix Support: Address and resolve issues with network, server, and end user devices.

• Industrial Printer Support: Provide specialized support for industrial printers.

• Inventory Management: Manage and track hardware inventory and e-waste.

• Windows 10 Support: Offer support for Windows 10 operating systems.

• Mobile RF Device Support: Support mobile RF devices and workstation PCs.

• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as required and assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Operation of personal computer equipment.

• Occasional stooping, crawling, and lifting of up to 50 lbs. to install or check network devices and cabling.

• Ability to climb ladders to reset wireless access points.

• Climbing man ladders up to 20-25 feet to access catwalks and mezzanines, often while carrying hardware for replacement.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Primarily responsible for ensuring production computers are operational.

• Ability to troubleshoot routers or switches if network issues arise.

• Occasional re-imaging of computers.

• Completion of ladder training for resetting wireless access points.

• On-site presence required daily

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
