The

Business Analyst is an integral part of the technology team focused on logistics and field service business projects and support. This role interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their problems and needs. Gathers, documents, and analyzes business needs and requirements. Solves business problems and, as needed, designs technical solutions. The Business Analyst evaluates and tests new or modified software programs and software development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines.

What you'll do:

  • Accountable for providing leadership and independent initiatives in facilitating and conducting in-formation gathering structured documentation and presentation of findings

  • Liaise with internal customers and IT departments and follow up to completion on various programming and IT issues

  • Maintain current project notes and communicate information to business partners and developers

  • Work independently and collaboratively with developers in troubleshooting system failures and data discrepancies

  • Administer user acceptance testing for all new software developed providing final approval for project to be moved into production

  • Support internal and external Help Desk resources with unresolved questions from application users

  • Responsible for accurate and detailed SDLC documentation including functional requirements, test plans and test scripts

  • Perform ongoing documentation of enhancements to applications

  • Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree; preferably in Information Technology or Business OR equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • Good understanding of mobile, ERP and Logistics systems and technologies

  • Analytically oriented with strong documentation skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients daily

  • Experienced in relational database analysis with strong data query skills

  • Experienced with Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, Excel

  • Ability to distill information and articulate business needs to developers

  • Understanding of relationships between theoretical information and data
