Examples of Duties

The City of Tigard is looking for an energetic team player with a technical background in implementing and managing SaaS based Cross-Departmental Systems. The successful candidate will have experience in large enterprise systems (EHR, EMR, ERP, Financial Systems, CRM), superior communication skills, can learn business operations, and configures the proper technology solutions to satisfy department needs. They will have the ability to promote large scale changes in business practices through workflows, feature sets, and creates efficiencies through technology.

The ERP Platform Administrator will be joining an IT team that primary focus is implementing and maintaining a Tyler Technologies ERP system. The new systems will work at a Citywide level and allows for interconnected data and cross-departmental workflows. These systems will increase efficiencies in operations and help facilitate data informed decision-making capabilities. This position will be influential in using technology to update business practices, guiding decision making, and implementation of data systems.   • Directly support the Community Development department’s ERP technology solutions.

  • Learn departmental technology focused operational and administrative systems and prepare for the upcoming transition to a new ERP platform.

  • Lead Enterprise System functions for implementation of the Tyler Technologies EnerGov permitting application. This will include system configuration, data validation, workflow and notifications, and ongoing maintenance of the new Tyler Technologies platform.

  • Assist in transforming the Community Development department from paper-based procedures to electronic paperless workflows.

  • Assist with end user technology troubleshooting.

  • Updating and testing large scale software deployments

  • Be part of a new IT Team at the City of Tigard that is implementing a citywide ERP platform from the ground up.

Preferred Experience:

  • Advanced experience in Enterprise System implementations and migrations

  • Experience with SaaS based applications and administration.

  • Experience configuring, and maintaining all aspects of an ERP Platform

  • Experience with detailed Role Based Security Practices

  • Experience with Cloud Based Systems and interacting with 3rd party vendors.

    Bonus Experience:

  • Prior work history with any of the Tyler Technologies’ suite of applications

  • Prior work history with Electronic Document Review

  • Prior work history with Planning, Permitting, or Engineering Applications from within an Enterprise wide software solution.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience :

Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in computer science, information technology, or a related field; AND

  • Five (5) years of responsible system management, computer system configuration, system data analysis, system project implementation, or related experience; OR

  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Schedule: 40 hours per week. This position is a 4/10 (Monday-Thursday) w ork schedule includes a combination of office and off-site There is an opportunity for remote work up to 50% of the time.

Compensation:

The hourly range for this over-time eligible position is $41.20-$53.87 per hour The starting pay assignment, based on an analysis of the successful candidate’s related experience and education in accordance with the City’s pay equity policy and the Oregon Equal Pay Act, would be no higher than $48.48.
