CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities:

• Must set-up, run, and inspect parts to drawing specification using CNC Lathe or CNC Mill, and/or CNC mill turn.

• Required to perform first article inspections and correct any discrepancies between part measurements and print requirements.

• Should be adept in all aspects of machining and assist other machinists as needed.

• Apply knowledge of machine shop theory and procedures, shop mathematics, machinability of materials and layout techniques.

• Utilizes tools and measuring instruments including, but not limited to saw, shear, grinder, calipers, micrometer, calculator, and various other hand tools.

• Read blueprints and inspect completed parts and related documentation.

• Retrieve appropriate tools from tool crib to complete job.

• Refer to reference books or confer with engineers to resolve questions/issues.

• Maintains equipment as necessary.

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and reading skills.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience to set up and Operator CNC Lathe or CNC Mill

• Ability to read blueprints, machine and inspect completed parts and related documentation.

• Must have math skills to be able to set up the machine.

• Ability to lift/carry/pull/push up to 20lbs.

Shifts Available:

Shifts are available from Monday – Friday, 2:00 pm -10:30pm with some overtime

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
