Envista Holdings Corporation Clean Room Assembler/Labeler (Westlake Village, CA) in Thousand Oaks, California

Job Description:

Perform tasks in all areas of the Clean Room and with the labeling machines; meeting quality and production standards. Identify non-acceptable product components. Follow company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks and other tasks as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Wash, sort, assemble, and package product components.

  • Cap product components using automated equipment.

  • Perform daily equipment check, conduct minor adjustments when necessary, and record on daily log.

  • Verify product against job traveler.

  • Setup labeling machine per drawing requirement.

  • Perform first article label inspection and online label inspection during machine run.

  • Identify non-acceptable product components for discoloration and abnormalities on vials and caps, and for mis-print or wrong information on labels.

  • Label product components manually (by hand) and/or using automated equipment.

  • Write scrap tickets for any nonconforming product identified and nonconforming labels.

  • Verify job quantity.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED preferred . Prior clean room and labeling experience preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as operating procedures, general instructions, technical brochures, safety rules, employee handbook, company policies, departmental procedures, etc. Ability to communicate effectively, present information and respond to questions from coworkers and management while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense, understanding and to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or blueprint form. The ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Excellent hand/eye coordination.

  • Attention to detail and patience.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Meet quality standards.

  • Read and interpret assembly aids and non-compliance reports.

  • Keep work area in clean and orderly manner.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.

$16.80 - $22.70 per hour
