Responsibilities/ Qualifications:

  • Performs a wide range of repairing/replacing and diagnosing of mechanical problems associated with equipment related to rip saw.
  • Utilizes a variety of pneumatic and handheld tools.
  • Engages in welding, utilizing cutting torch and brazes.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics, simple and complicated drawings.
  • Performs diagnostic and repair from floor to overhead height.
  • Performs benchwork for troubleshooting and assembly and dissembling.
  • Utilizes micrometers, calipers, levels, and squares.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Must work safely while wearing all required PPE and complete monthly OSHA trainings.
  • Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling.
  • Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment.
  • Intermediate maintenance skills required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to co-workers.
