To learn more, visit our benefits and perks page. __ Position Overview:At DigiKey, the Manager, Business Technology Enablement assesses current workflows to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement or automation, aligning initiatives with organizational objectives. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to define requirements, gather data, conduct thorough process mapping, and analyze results to drive informed decision-making and operational improvements. You will review and/or create detailed reports and visual representations, partnering with business and IT partners to recommend new process designs that integrate best practices and technological advancements for optimized organizational efficiency. In addition, this role will oversee the strategic implementation and optimization of technology solutions. In this role, you will ensure our teams and DigiKey are equipped with the necessary tools and systems to drive our corporate objectives effectively. This role is based in Thief River Falls or Bloomington, Minnesota, and will require a minimum of three days per week in the office and be available for projects in the office as needed. Travel required, at times, domestically and internationally. Responsibilities: Develop and execute a technology strategy that supports the organization's global operations and business objectives Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business needs, identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements, and prioritize initiatives accordingly Facilitate communication and collaboration between business and technology teams, partnering with change management leaders and the training team to ensure seamless integration, smooth transitions, and maximize user adoption of new technologies. Manage a team of technology subject matter experts and fosters a collaborative and innovative work environment. Lead technology projects from conception to implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget Work closely with various departments, including operations and IT, to identify areas where technology can enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and optimize performance Assist in evaluating, selecting, and managing technology vendors and partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions and services Provide feedback during contract and agreement reviews to achieve favorable terms for the organization Partner with Business Analalytics Enablement team to leverage data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement to drive automation for our teams globally Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities related to technology implementations and ensure appropriate risk mitigation strategies are in place Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of technology solutions in driving operational efficiency and business outcomes Regularly report on the performance of technology initiatives to leadership and stakeholders. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: 4+ years of experience in technology management operations, or a similar role with a global focus including 2 yr. leadership experience Strong understanding of technology trends, solutions, and their potential impact on business operations Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to lead and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive strategic decisions Change management expertise to facilitate the adoption of new technologies within the organization Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget management Exemplary Microsoft Excel skills Bachelor's Degree in business administration, management, organizational behavior,or similar area of study or equivalent, relevant work experience(preferred) Tools/Systems/Software Experience with customer support technology including quality monitoring, email routing, order automation, workforce management, call center software, CRM, OMS, etc. Examples of tools: UCC, Calabrio, Qualtrics, Conexiom, eGain, Finesse, WFM, Articulate, etc. Physical Requirements: Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body .
