Responsibilities include regular cleaning, restocking supplies and ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for employees, clients and visitors. The role follows the daily work schedule for the assigned areas. This is considered an essential onsite role, which requires regular onsite attendance. The working schedule for this role is Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Responsibilities: Preparing coffee/hot water, keeping carafes full Keeping the break room areas neat and clean throughout the day Daily wiping down of microwaves, refrigerators and freezers Daily restocking of supplies, cleaning/filling salt and pepper shakers etc. Dishwashing by hand (dishes, cup holders, utensils etc.) Delivering beverages or other items to meeting rooms as necessary Assisting with corporate wide vendor or employer appreciation days Setting up, breaking down and hand washing dishes after scheduled luncheons or dinners Organizing and cleaning of the satellite break rooms Willingness to provide coverage for scheduled vacations or time off of co-workers as necessary Shared Duty: Thorough cleaning of all appliances and general surfaces on a weekly basis Participates in staff meetings, training and in-services and staff development programs as required by the Manager, Corporate Security and Internal Retail Services Clean, dust, vacuum, and wash walls, furniture, ceilings, bathrooms, meeting rooms, windows, doors, and associated equipment and fixtures Sweep, mop, vacuum, and strip all floor surfaces Collect trash throughout the facility and transport to proper location Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, etc. Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience: High School Diploma or GED Preferred: Basic knowledge of DigiKey brand, principles and distribution industry Preferred: Previous customer service, event coordination or similar experience Physical Requirements: Able to twist or bend and occasionally climb stairs Able to reach with hands and arms above shoulder level Spend the majority of working hours walking/standing on concrete Regularly lift up to 35 lbs to 50lbs from floor to shoulder height Spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body .
