Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Cash Balance Specialist in the Banking Industry, based in The Woodlands, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and correcting errors, adjusting customer accounts, and responding to department phone calls and emails. You will also work towards becoming cross-trained on all tasks within the department. The hours are 8:00-5:00 Tuesday-Friday, and 6:00-2:00 on Saturday.

Responsibilities:

• Adjust customer accounts as necessary to maintain accuracy

• Respond to department phone calls and emails in a timely manner

• Assist branches in locating and correcting outages

• Review and work on daily cash management reports

• Identify and correct out of balance transactions on cash reconciliation sheets

Requirements

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Access), and the ability to quickly learn and navigate banking software applications and systems.

· Excellent organizational and data entry skills, with the ability to multi-task, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

· Strong written and verbal communications skills.

· Customer service orientated with effective problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills.

· Self-starter possessing the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.

· Ability to follow directions and apply proper policies, procedures and guidelines.

· Ability to work flexible hours; demonstrated good attendance and punctuality.

· Strong attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy.

· 1-3 years banking or financial services operations experience.

· Deposit operations or branch experience preferred.
