McGovern Medical SchoolatUTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, invites applications for two full-time (1.0 FTE), non-tenure clinical track Assistant/Associate Professors - General ENT in theDepartment of Otorhinolaryngology.

We are seeking academically motivated, full-time faculty members who have complete otolaryngology residency training and are now board-certified/eligible. The practice focus for these positions will be comprehensive otolaryngology.

The selected candidates will contribute to the department’s mission to educate health science professionals, discover and translate advances in the biomedical and social sciences, and model the best practices in clinical care and public health through research, teaching, clinical service, administrative activities, and other services.

Position Key Accountabilities:

The successful Assistant / Associate Professor candidates in Otorhinolaryngology will be committed to patient care, resident, fellow, and medical student education, and clinical and collaborative research.

Individuals must demonstrate excellence in clinical medicine, teaching, and scholarly activities during their training and practice.

This is a unique opportunity for those interested in academic otorhinolaryngology with a specific interest in general ENT. The positions will be based at one of the Department's community sites located on campuses of Memorial Hermann hospitals and include a 20% commitment to a teaching site . Fellowship training is not required, but candidates with fellowship training will be considered. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:

The selected candidates for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License, be board certified, or board eligible.
