We are seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations during our peak seasonal period. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and consistency, and upholding food safety and hygiene standards at all times. This position requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality food in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead kitchen staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation in line with company guidelines and customer expectations.
  • Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food, ensuring consistency in taste, portion sizes, and appearance.
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are strictly followed, including proper food storage, handling, and preparation techniques.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure the kitchen is meeting all health and safety standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure that stock is rotated to minimize waste.
  • Resolve any kitchen-related issues or customer complaints quickly and professionally.
  • Assist in creating weekly or daily menus based on seasonal ingredients and operational needs.
  • Monitor kitchen operations to ensure proper preparation times, cleanliness, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Enforce health and safety guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents and contamination.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment for all staff.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures for the kitchen, ensuring everything is prepared for the next days operations.
