Tewksbury Hospital, part of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH), is seeking a dynamic Management Analyst IIto play an essential role in driving data-driven decision-making to enhance hospital services and operations. This position is responsible for designing, analyzing, and maintaining critical datasets, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance with quality standards. With opportunities to contribute to performance improvement projects and high-impact initiatives, this position is ideal for someone who thrives in a data-driven healthcare environment and is eager to make a meaningful impact on hospital operations. /_Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):_/ · Collect, analyze, and present data through graphs, charts, and statistical reports to support hospital operations and decision-making. · Maintain and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of hospital databases by performing quality assurance checks and necessary corrections. · Develop and implement secure data-sharing procedures to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders. · Assist hospital departments with data extraction and reporting, providing insights to support workforce planning and operational improvements. · Conduct staffing analyses using evidence-based tools to optimize staffing ratios and resource allocation. · Design and manage data reporting for hospital-wide initiatives, including public health tracking, mandatory education compliance, and performance improvement projects. · Interpret and summarize hospital data to generate reports that support strategic planning and enhance operational efficiency. · Engage in professional development, training, and hospital compliance initiatives, including serving as a member of the Hospital Mock Tracer team. /_Required Qualifications:_/ · Ability to collect, analyze and present data using charts, graphs, and tables to support leadership in decision making. · Proficient with MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) · Excellent communication and collaboration skills. /_Preferred Qualifications:_/ · Strong analytical skills to assess data applicability, draw conclusions, and make informed recommendations. · Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to give clear instructions and collaborate in a team setting. · Knowledge of management science principles, including problem-solving, statistics, workflow optimization, and computer system analysis and design. · Ability to follow and provide precise instructions, maintain accurate records, and format information according to established procedures. · Adaptability to changing situations, with the ability to work independently while building effective relationships with stakeholders. _About Tewksbury Hospital:_ Tewksbury Hospital operates a 370-bed facility and a campus of over 700 acres of land. Its patient care services are provided under the auspices of the Department of Public Health and Mental Health. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the administration of a Joint Commission accredited LTAC hospital that provides high quality, comprehensive treatment, care, and comfort to adults with chronic medical and mental illness.
