Job Description

Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team in Tampa, FL. The Accounting Manager will directly supervise two individuals and will be responsible for ensuring the assigned team manages the financial information and provides accurate reports to the management team of their business unit. They will be responsible for month end close, variance analysis, land and building lease payments, CAPEX management, monthly forecasting, and the annual budget process. Along with the financial management duties, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for partnering with internal stakeholders to understand what needs to be supported by information systems and technology to develop communication plans around system improvements. They will coordinate with IT to implement workflows and manage the process of integrating systems to allow for data extraction & automation.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of accounting experience

2-3 years of lead or managerial experience

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience with SAP

Advanced Excel experience- pivot tables, vlookups MBA

CPA, CMA or CFM designation preferred

Industry experience null
