Job Overview

Position Schedule: Full-Time

The Senior Organization Consultant- Team-Based Ways of Working is a member of the Talent Management Team. While this role is focused on supporting Team-Based Ways of Working, it operates as a member of the team that delivers best-in-class performance management, succession planning, and career development processes and systems to enable associates and leaders across the firm to deliver value. The Senior Organization Consultant will work as strategic partner with our business human resources team and leaders across the firm to better enable associates and leaders at all levels to effectively contribute to our firm's strategy and business plan through effective use of fit-for-purpose team structures.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide thought leadership and practical application of research and best practices in Team-Based Ways of Working

  • Deepen expertise and build capability in the firm among Human Resources and business leaders related to Team-Based Ways of Working

  • Consult and collaborate with Human Capital colleagues and business leaders to diagnose business needs and create/support targeted Team-Based Ways of Working interventions.

  • Applies a systems diagnostic model to understand issues and the component parts of an effective operating model: strategy and business direction, value streams structure, management mechanisms, talent, people processes, culture and system alignment, etc.

  • Partners with HR analytics team in determining the best measures, metrics and predictive analytics to monitor performance, identify organizational pain points and drive decision making.

  • Vet external consulting partners, ensuring consistency of approach, measurable outcomes, and competitive pricing

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:

Hiring Minimum: $113810

Hiring Maximum: $193785

Skills/Requirements

What You'll Need:

  • Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Leadership Development, Human Resources, or a related discipline: PhD preferred

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in an internal or external consulting role with senior leaders and Human Resources colleagues to diagnose needs and develop/implement organizational development and talent management solutions.

  • Organizational Development Consulting experience highly preferred

  • Expert knowledge and experience in the core organization development processes with significant expertise in team effectiveness and development

  • Significant experience coaching and influencing leaders to appreciate and leverage a holistic approach to improving firm performance.

  • Strong facilitation and communication skills and experience facilitating and leading very senior leaders through the Organization Development interventions.

  • Moderate knowledge of project-management tools and experience in mid to large scale projects.

  • PHR/SPHR Certification a plus

*Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
