Description

Seller Lifecycle Management works to identify, rectify and prevent seller's from misrepresenting their identity. Our mission is that customers can shop with trust and confidence that every selling account on Amazon is operated by a verified and authenticated identity at every stage of the selling lifecycle, which promotes a community built on mutual trust, transparency, and accountability. We do this by identifying and removing bad actors from the platform, while supporting a best-in-class customer experience. A day in the life

An engineer in Seller Lifecycle Management will spend their day collaborating with their teammates on designs for new systems, providing code review feedback for their peers, writing code to implement new software as well as update legacy software, working with business partners to define requirements and drive better experiences for our customers.

An engineer in Seller Lifecycle Management spends time addressing operational excellence for software they own, identifying issues in existing systems, proposing solutions and resolving those through the natural software development lifecycle, while proposing changes to team process and mechanisms to prevent future gaps in their software.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
