Amazon Product Marketing Manager, Selling Partner Communities in Tempe, Arizona
Description
Our worldwide vision is to be the most Seller-centric online global community, creating destinations for knowledge, news, inspiration, and celebration, dedicated to helping Selling Partners (SP) develop their full potential and success in the Amazon store.
We accomplish this vision with the following three objectives: 1) Build magical experiences to provide SPs opportunities to connect directly with Amazon and each other, thus creating a valuable and inclusive community, 2) Create and govern SP communications and content to inspire, educate, and engage in multi-directional channels between SPs and Amazon at scale; and 3) Measure SP Perceptions, develop SP Insights, and advocate on their behalf.
We are seeking a results-driven Marketing Manager to support demand generation planning and marketing operations, with a primary focus on our flagship annual conference, Accelerate. This role will be responsible for executing marketing operations across multiple channels, managing event communications, and supporting both in-person attendance and virtual engagement planning and communications. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in marketing operations and event marketing execution, program management with capabilities in digital marketing and marketing calendar planning. You will be responsible for implementing comprehensive marketing plans, managing day-to-day marketing operations, and managing effective communication and collaboration with all stakeholders, including senior leaders. This role requires strong operational ownership, excellent project management skills, and collaborative capabilities. The ideal candidate thrives in an ambiguous environment where they have end-to-end ownership in a white space, is an excellent communicator and has strong business judgment.
Key job responsibilities
• Marketing Planning and Execution: You will develop and execute the marketing communications phase-wise schedule for Accelerate, driving data-driven decision making through reporting and performance tracking. You'll create and manage project timelines and workback schedules for all marketing phases, partnering with stakeholders to ensure alignment on marketing objectives and deliverables.
• Content Development and Quality Control: You will lead review processes for copy and creative assets across all marketing phases, across multiple stakeholders. You'll manage the development and execution cycle of various content types including SC Mobile app tutorials, SC News articles, blog posts, social media content, email communications, and website content.
• Microsite planning: You will manage the Accelerate microsite, including sitemap development, wireframe and copy review, while overseeing content execution across platforms.
• Analytics and Reporting: You will establish and track key performance metrics across all marketing channels, own link tracking management and implementation, and develop regular performance reports for stakeholders. You'll use data insights to identify optimization opportunities and improve marketing effectiveness.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: You will partner with creative teams to ensure high-quality asset development, coordinate with technical teams for website and platform updates, and align with stakeholders on marketing initiatives and timelines. You may also manage relationships with external vendors and agencies as needed.
• Channel Management: You will manage end-to-end marketing planning, including campaign setup, execution, and optimization across some multiple channels.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels
Experience owning and driving large-scale cross-functional programs
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs
Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
