Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler where you will be performing repairs and troubleshooting on aircraft captain chairs, seating parts, and units. This role is based in the repair section and specifically focuses on A320 pilot seats. This is a contract position with the potential to become permanent based on your attitude and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and troubleshooting on aircraft captain chairs, seating parts, and units.

  • Work independently after training in a back shop/cell environment.

  • Read and interpret blueprints.

  • Utilize bench technician skills including the use of an oscilloscope.

Essential Skills

  • 1-2 years of mechanical experience.

  • Strong mechanical experience.

  • Experience with electrical troubleshooting.

  • Ability to read blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with crew seats, particularly Sogerma A320 crew seats is preferred.

  • Aviation experience is preferred.

  • Possession of personal, basic hand tools is required.

Work Environment

You will work in an air-conditioned repair station set up like a back shop/cell environment. The shift is from 7:15 am to 4:00 pm, with overtime as needed but not guaranteed. The role requires you to work independently after training.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
