CNC Maintenance Technician

Job Description

• Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process

• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating manuals, or test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts

• Rebuild manufacturing equipment, and perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers

• Ensure the quality of work to meet or exceed customer satisfaction

• Communicate professionally with machine manufacturers, parts suppliers, and sub-contractors

• Manage parts orders with suppliers

• Ensure machine sub-contractors meet safety requirements and company protocols

• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual TPM activities for all equipment to ensure overall efficiency, reducing downtime and maximizing uptime

• Maintain relationships with key third-party vendors and OEM manufacturers to identify critical spare parts for key equipment
