The Program Coordinator Sr is responsible for the successful implementation of the Invest in Our Youth; Invest in Our Future Project in the Gila River Indian Community system. The project entails working with students, families and communities to improve academic and career outcomes. This is a grant funded program with an initial duration of four years.\ \ Overview:\ The primary goals of the Invest in Our Youth; Invest in Our Future Project (Invest) is to work with our partners to prepare K-12 students to: 1) Improve student outcomes towards the Arizona Academic Standards; 2) Prepare high school students to, enroll and succeed in post-secondary educational programs; and 3) Empower students to apply their learning both in their studies so they are personally and academically prepared for the careers of 21st century. The Invest in Our Youth; Invest in Our Future Project aims to establish a culture of universal achievement which:

• Creates and expands career possibilities for our youth.
• Ensures our students are academically prepared.
• Develops students strength of character, resolve and resilience, so they have the skills needed to overcome challenges and potential barriers to completion of school and enrollment in postsecondary institutions.
• Provides on-going college and career planning with Junior High and High School students.
