Description We are looking for a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to be based in Temecula, California. In this role, you will be expected to handle account reconciliations, payable management, and provide general support to the accounting team. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accurate and timely processing and verification of invoices, adhering strictly to the company's policies.

• Conduct monthly reconciliations for both accounts receivable and payable to identify and rectify discrepancies.

• Collaborate effectively with vendors and internal departments to address and resolve payment discrepancies.

• Prepare and execute payments accurately and according to the given schedule.

• Utilize Excel functions and formulas for efficient financial data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation processes.

• Maintain and develop spreadsheets for tracking and analyzing financial information.

• Assist the accounting team during month-end closing procedures which include making journal entries and conducting account analysis.

• Provide support for ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the accounting team.

• Utilize Excel skills such as pivot tables, V-look ups, and Excel for reconciliation to pull data and run searches, sums, texts. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes.

• Demonstrated ability to handle payable invoices efficiently.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the use of complex formulas.

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is a plus.

• Strong computer data entry skills are required.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

• Proven track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
