DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Job ID: 501797

Job Summary A Cage Welder will be responsible for the cutting, forming, welding and/or tying of wire mesh and reinforcing steel to fabricate cages for concrete pipe. This individual will use ASTM standards to fabricate steel cages for concrete in a safe and efficient manner.

Job Responsibilities  * Welding of steel cages for concrete  * Execution of steel roller changeovers  * Use of hand and power tools and lifting equipment  * Preform welding operations (stick welding)  * Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements  * Minimum high school diploma or equivalent  * At least 1 year of welding/steel fabrication experience or equivalent training  * Ability to perform basic mathematical skills such as reading fractions and a tape measure  * Experience with industrial steel tooling such as vertical band saw, drill press, grinders, plasma cutter, and torches  * Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
