Full-Time/Part-Time: Part-Time


Description:The Pool Lifeguard (part-time) position at Aquila Fitness is responsible for promoting a safe pool environment for all members and guests and responding to any emergencies in or around the pool.

The pay rate for Pool Lifeguards is $16 per hour.

Responsibilities include:

Modeling and promoting the standards of the club

Adhering to all policies and procedures including but not limited to timeliness, codes of conduct, dress and timekeeping

Enforcing pool policies and standards of safe conduct for all members and guests

Inspecting the pool area for hazardous conditions and take appropriate steps to eliminate risks, including keeping the pool area free of clutter to eliminate a hazardous situation

Testing and recording chemical readings every hour

Recognizing emergencies and responding effectively; completing any necessary accident reports

Attending all trainings to maintain the necessary skills required

Ensuring all necessary equipment is present in the pool area and notifying the Manager if additional supplies are needed

Requirements:

  • Active Lifeguard certification
  • Active First Aid and CPR/AED certification
