Overview
The Operations Manager (OM) is responsible for the direct oversight of the day-to-day operations of cleanroom construction projects, including final construction cleanups, super clean services, and sustaining maintenance activities. The OM is further responsible for ensuring that productivity levels and customer service requirements are being met and that supervisor, leads and front-line employees are complying with all safety, quality and compliance standards established by the company, by our clients and by regulatory authorities.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises and controls the cleanup operations of the construction site (including, buildings, trailers, parking lots and surrounding grounds)
Develop and implement schedules for final construction cleanups, super cleans, and sustaining services.
Ensure thorough removal of construction debris, dust, and contaminants from cleanroom surfaces, fixtures, and equipment, meeting all cleanliness standards.
Coordinate and manage super clean activities in newly constructed or renovated cleanrooms to achieve the required cleanliness levels before commissioning.
Supervise detailed cleaning procedures, including specialized cleaning agents, equipment, and techniques, ensuring that all surfaces are free from particles, oils, and other contaminants.
Ensure that super clean processes comply with customer specifications, industry guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Responsible for assisting in administering and/or implementing policies, systems, programs, processes, procedures and/or plans
Ensures a safe and secure work environment and develops personal growth opportunities to employees by means of training.
Accommodates increase/decreased client staffing requests
Analyzes and resolve quality and customer service problems; identify trends; recommend improvements
Meets financial targets through effective scheduling and time management
Effectively coaches, counsels and disciplines employees
Establishes and maintain effective communication and working relationships with client and ABM staff
Complies with all safety and security procedures established by the company, by our clients and by regulatory authorities
Sets a positive and professional example for workforce
Enforces ABM rules and policies regarding employee conduct, issues verbal warnings and written reprimands for violations, and recommends progressive disciplinary action to the immediate supervisor as appropriate.
Contributes to the overall success of the department by performing other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Bilingual required (English, Spanish)
Semi-Conductor experience preferred
Ability to train, manage and develop a team
High energy level with strong commitment to service quality
5+ years of operational experience in managing personnel
Previous operational experience working in a semiconductor facility strongly desired
Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends if needed
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals and handbooks
Possess and utilize effective listening skills
Strong understanding of computer software programs, including Microsoft Office
WORKING CONDITIONS
Conditions may require walking, stooping, climbing, pushing, pulling, heavy lifting (less than or equal to 50 pounds), bending, working in awkward positions handling equipment and materials. Employees will be required to wear protective clothing and/or respiratory equipment when conditions warrant.
To operate a vehicle at the customer’s site, employees must obtain an ABM drivers permit per the ABM Drivers Safety MVR registration program. This policy checks for a valid State ID along with a citation background check, and those with high risk driving habits will need additional driver education in order to obtain the permit. Employees who operate company vehicles must consistently meet the requirements of the Facility Vehicle Safety Program.
