About this role:  

KDC's Clinical Director is a leadership position responsible for the clinical support structure in the Community Developmental Services Division. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the application of behavior analytic principles that treat challenges with social communication and behavior with a strong focus on Positive Behavioral Supports.

This team member will serve as an active leader throughout our service areas, which include but are not limited to: Foxborough, New Bedford, Sandwich/Hyannis, and Worcester areas.

Role Requirements: 

  • Master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, psychology, education, or related field, required.

  • Possession of an active BCBA Certification, LICSW or be a licensed Psychologist, required.

  • Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience in the treatment of individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, required.

  • Minimum (1) year experience in supervision and staff training, required.

  • Very strong organizational skills, required.

  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite, required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, required.

  • Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle for extensive travel, required.

    In this role, you’ll get to: 

  • Establish and support a PBS Leadership Team promoting a system wide commitment to Positive Behavioral Supports.

  • Develop and implement Functional Behavioral Assessments and Positive Behavioral Supports plans.

  • Train staff in treatment plan implementation and monitor individual treatment plan progress.

  • Responsible for the oversight, supervision and quality assurance of Clinical Services in the Community Developmental Services Division serving adults and children with developmental disabilities, Autism, substance abuse and dual diagnosis.

  • Provide support and training for all Day Habilitation and community placements to ensure continuity of care.

  • Familiarity with skill acquisition and behavior reduction practices emphasizing the development of organizational strategies and a multi-tiered system of support.

  • Audit clinical documentation to ensure active treatment and treatment plan integrity.

  • Develop, implement and evaluate clinical policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to manage the consistent application of policies and procedures in clinical care.

  • In collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, facilitate clinical rounds/case review forums as indicated.

  • Member of various committees, to include Training, Human Rights and/or Clinical Risk Committee.

  • Act as a liaison with other community providers and agencies serving KDC participants as needed.

  • In conjunction with the interdisciplinary team, adhere to HIPAA and documentation requirements.

  • Other clinical duties as required.
