Citizens Trust Administration & Governance Account Specialist in Tarrytown, New York

Description

The Trust Administration & Governance Account Specialist is responsible for performing administrative account reviews of the Bank’s fiduciary service-related accounts, generating and disseminating reporting, and serving to deliver colleague support around administrative account review concerns. Additional duties will include supporting various trust administration related activities and initiatives as a member of the Bank’s Trust Administration & Governance team.

The incumbent in this role will focus on applying knowledge of fiduciary and trust account administration, as well as operational and risk management awareness to support effective account administration. This includes a meaningful customer experience combined with a culture of risk identification, escalation and timely mitigation of compliance and operational risks. This position is focused on communicating and driving consistent quality in the administration of the Bank’s fiduciary services. 

Lastly, this role will also include general business support work as a member of the Trust Administration & Governance group.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conducting administrative account reviews in accordance with CFG Policy, regulatory requirements, and business line procedure.

  • Developing and maintaining appropriate materials and records associated execution of the account reviews and associated reporting.

  • Coordinate with other Citizens Private Wealth colleagues and teams involved in fiduciary services to ensure best practices are met.  

  • Participate in regulatory exams and internal reviews and audits, with a specific focus to support successful exams/audits. 

  • Participate in the training and development of colleagues involved in administering the Bank’s fiduciary services for clients.

Qualifications

Minimum Required: 

•    Proven ability to develop clear and concise communications and presentations

•    Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

•    Experience coordinating routines and facilitating analysis and execution of data.

•    Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

•    Strong relationship management skills

•    Demonstrates strong personal drive, individual initiative, a sense of urgency, and responsiveness

•    Well organized and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

•    Ability to effectively collaborate with others in different locations, departments and reporting lines.

  • 3+ years of financial services required with at least 1 year of experience working for a corporate trustee as a Trust Administrator.

Preferred:

•    Experience in (fiduciary services) and operations.

Education and Certification/License

Bachelor's degree preferred

CTFA certification a plus

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule - varies.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $36.05 - $38.46 per hour. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
