Job Title: Associate Scientist – CRISPR & Gene Editing (Screening and Genotyping)

Overview:

Join an exciting research team in Tarrytown, NY, and support our target discovery pipeline using CRISPR technology. As an Associate Scientist, you will design and optimize cell-based screening assays, perform CRISPR screens, and validate genetic targets to advance genetic research. This role offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge molecular and cell biology techniques in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize CRISPR-based screens using genome-wide and targeted gRNA libraries.

• Work with mammalian cell lines and primary cells for gene editing.

• Perform flow cytometry, FACS, and immunofluorescence experiments.

• Validate CRISPR gene editing at the RNA, protein, and functional levels.

• Analyze data, generate plots, and present findings.

• Maintain accurate electronic lab records.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Genetics, Molecular Biology, or Cell Biology.

• 2-3+ years of laboratory experience with tissue culture and cell engineering.

• Expertise in CRISPR-Cas9 technology, gene editing, and CRISPR screens.

• Proficiency in flow cytometry, FACS, and data analysis.

• Strong communication skills for team collaboration.
