Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our diagnostics Healthcare Consulting Solutions (HCS) team, as Global Strategic Healthcare Consultant The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role inshaping the approach for our most complex and influential projects.

This role involves working closely with healthcare providers, payers, and organizations to develop and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiencies, improve patient care, and ensure financial sustainability of their clinical laboratories service. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, strong analytical skills, and a record of accomplishment of successful project management.

This role is remote for candidates who reside in the US Northeast. Both Domestics and International travel are required for this role.

Your role:

  • Working in cross functional teams, the global strategic healthcare consultant will partner with healthcare leaders across the world to develop strategic plans in alignment with internal and external business goals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans for healthcare leaders, to shape the future of their service delivery, focusing on growth, efficiency, and patient outcomes.
  • Be able to articulate and quantify the value of a given strategic approach to senior healthcare leaders.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of healthcare operations and processes using methodologies such as lean and systems thinking, to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay updated on healthcare trends, policies, and technologies to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Drive customer performance improvement, by identifying opportunities for cost reduction, process optimization, and quality enhancement.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for customers, summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all strategies comply with internal compliance standards and external healthcare regulations. Mitigate identified risks.
  • Service internally and externally as a subject matter expert in clinical laboratory service strategy design.
  • Provide internal and external education, both formally and informally, on the trends shaping the future of clinical laboratory diagnostics and healthcare e.g., value-based healthcare.

Your expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business, Public Health, or related field; MBA, MHA, or other relevant advanced degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years in healthcare consulting or a related role, with a focus on clinical laboratory service development, strategy, and operations.
  • Laboratory Diagnostics experience is required.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • At ease communicating with senior healthcare leaders e.g., C-suite leadership teams.
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare systems, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, etc.).
  • Certifications: PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications.
  • Previous experience with healthcare IT systems and data analytics.
  • Familiarity with value-based care models and healthcare reform initiatives.
  • International and Domestic travel 50%

The pay range for this position is $191,000 - $225,000 U.S. dollars annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as where the work will be performed. The annual incentive target is (20%) of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
