Information Systems of Maryland (ISM), LLC is seeking a Market Intelligence Analyst with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our growing team. ISM is an IT consulting firm that specializes in providing small to medium sized organizations with IT project solutions, security solutions and talent acquisition services on a Direct Hire and Temp-to-perm basis. To meet the increasing needs of our organization we are seeking a Market Intelligence Analyst that wants to take part in our success.

ORGANIZATIONAL STATUS:

This position reports to the President/Chairman and will interface with executive staff, all internal and remote employees, and prospective customers/contacts.

POSITION SUMMARY:

In this role, the Market Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data to inform strategic decisions, optimize lead generation, and uncover unmet market needs. When customer prospect contact information sources are found, then as part of this role, the analyst will build data sets that will then be imported into our Salesforce CRM. This role will also build and complete a viability study which will aim to determine if operationalizing an Occupational Health Services offering, as an extension of our already existing Human Capital division of the firm, is beneficial.

This role is pivotal in driving growth and ensuring our products and services align with market demands.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct market research and new opportunity assessments to support informed decision making.
  • Determine and maintain data on market share of key strategic verticals.
  • Analyze industry trends and drivers to determine key characteristics of primary market segments.
  • Uncover and document unmet needs or product desires within identified target segments.
  • Provide recommendations for products or services based on market insights and suggestions from the commercial team.
  • Configure and populate Salesforce with actionable intelligence and market data related to new and planned construction projects.
  • Report on lead generation and conversion rates to assess the effectiveness of targeted efforts.
  • Remain fully informed on market trends and competitive landscape by building and maintaining a competitive database focused on products, pricing, competitive positioning, digital presence, and market share.
  • Produce and present reports in PowerPoint format, summarizing findings and strategic recommendations.
