Job Title: Country Manager Location: Denzai America Inc. (DAI) - Guam Job Type: Full-Time ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Job Overview: DENZAI International is seeking an experienced and driven Country Manager to lead and manage its Guam operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, operational excellence, and fostering client relationships while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. A proven track record in leadership, logistics, crane operations, and military project management is highly desirable. This role requires exceptional business acumen and the ability to grow the companys presence in the region. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Leadership - - Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and profitability in Guam. - Aligning local operations with Denzai Internationals global objectives and standards. - Identify market opportunities and spearhead initiatives to expand the companys footprint. - Operational Oversight - - Manage daily operations, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and adherence to quality standards. - Oversee budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to optimize operational outcomes. - Ensure maintenance and availability of all equipment to meet customer and project demands. - Client and Stakeholder Relations - - Serve as the primary representative of Denzai in Guam, building and nurturing relationships with clients, vendors, and government entities. - Negotiate contracts, partnerships, and agreements to align with business objectives. - Collaborate with military and civilian stakeholders on projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with requirements. - Team Leadership and Development - - Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing local team to achieve operational and strategic goals. - Foster a collaborative and positive workplace culture that aligns with company values. - Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to enhance team productivity. - Compliance and Reporting - - Ensure strict adherence to local laws, regulations, and company policies, including safety and environmental standards. - Regularly report operational, financial, and strategic updates to the Regional COO based in Singapore. - Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits, contracts, and regulatory compliances. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Qualifications and Skills - Experience: - - Minimum 5 years in senior management, preferably in logistics, heavy equipment, or related industries. - Experience in crane operations and military project management is highly preferred. - Education: - - Bachelors degree in business administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field is required. - Advanced degrees or certifications in management or logistics are a plus. - Skills: - - Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making capabilities. - Proven ability to build relationships and negotiate with stakeholders. - Deep understanding of Guams business landscape, including regulatory requirements. - Proficiency in applying for working visas and managing international workforce compliance. - Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Why Join Us? - Opportunity to lead and grow an international business in a dynamic and fast-paced market. - Competitive compensation and benefits. - Be part of a global company committed to excellence and innovation.
