Retail Sales Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to join our team at a retail store in Tampa, FL. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations at our location. This is a part-time position requiring 16-24 weekly hours, with Saturday availability being mandatory. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, have a flexible schedule, and be responsible for opening and closing the location. Job Specifications:

• Job Type: Part-time 16-24 hours a week

• Location: E Fowler Ave Tampa, FL 33612

• Pay Rate: $20-$22

• Shift: Monday-Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 10am-4pm

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Acknowledge customers and promptly address any inquiries or concerns, both in person and via telephone

• Prepare labels and documentation required for customers who want to send their international or domestic shipments

• Assist customers who need to drop off or pick up their pre-labeled shipment

• Assist with operational procedures including sorting, shipment processing and documentation, manifesting, bagging, and sending shipment status information as required

• Ensure compliance with safety, security, regulatory, and company policies

Qualifications & Skills:

• Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to new tasks and responsibilities

• Strong problem-solving skills to effectively address customer inquiries and concerns

• Customer centricity mindset, ensuring a positive experience for every customer interaction

• Integrity and reliability in handling customer shipments and confidential information

• Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish is required

• Availability to work on Saturdays is a must

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role or area of responsibilities preferred

• Previous customer service experience is highly desirable

• Strong computer skills required

• Exceptional ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift packages up to 50lbs
