Hyatt Recreation Supervisor in TAMPA, Florida

Description:

The Recreation Supervisor assists in managing the overall operation of the recreation within the hotel. This includes setting up and maintaining the pool areas by folding and replenishing towels, setting up lounge chairs and daybeds, ensuring hydration stations are filled, and keeping everything clean and organized so guests can enjoy their time in the sun. Our Recreation Supervisor is responsible for taking charge of and coordinating activities within the hotel like family games and pool / lawn set-up, etc. The Supervisor will work closely with management to ensure exciting and impactful programming is created and executed within the property for our guests.The job duties listed are not all encompassing and additional responsibilities may be required.

Qualifications:

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment

  • Previous experience in recreation or similar role preferred

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred

  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time

  • Must be able to lift, pull, and push up to a moderate weight

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, holidays, and weekends

  • Must be fine with working outdoors all day

  • Must have refined verbal communication skills
