Role: Product Manager - IT

Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

Position type: 10+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion as FTE

Pay rate: $78 - $87/hr on W2

Job Description:

This role is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter of GenAI and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

Recommends and oversees process improvements.

Has considerable business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of product leadership for GenAI. Coordinates activities of the project team, identifies necessary resources and develops schedules to meet completion deadlines.

  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others (i.e., architecture or infrastructure) collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives. Verifies project team adherence to control and risk implementations as well as standards and process changes.

  • Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services. Determines scope and impact of project risks and issues; raises and resolves issues.

  • Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts; allocates work. Applies good understanding of concepts and procedures within own product leadership area to resolve issues.

  • Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions. Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how areas of GenAI product leadership collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals.

  • Persuades and influences others through and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.

  • Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Client, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Directly impacts the product leadership area through shared responsibility for delivery of end results and contribution to planning, budget management and formulation of procedures; influences resource planning.

  • Persuades and influences others through communication and diplomacy skills; may negotiate with external parties.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years experience in a product leadership role with commensurate people management experience.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Client, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
