Citi’s Functions Technology is responsible for delivering Technology solutions to Citi's Functions organizations. Functions Technology mission is to optimize Citi's Technology environment by delivering world class applications, driving standardization of the production environment, reducing complexity, optimizing management of systems supporting global functions such as Compliance, Controls, Internal Audit and Risk, and introducing innovative technologies that provide new business capabilities, reduce the technology total cost of ownership, and create a competitive advantage for Citi.
We’re looking for a collaborative, team-focused, knowledgeable IT Product Owner with phenomenal interpersonal skills. Product Owner who can provide strategic vision to guide product development, provide direction and effectively communicate with business to accelerate time-to-market. Ensuring the backlog is groomed, prioritized, engaging actively with the teams, guiding towards solutions, measuring impacts, and broadcasting results to the broader organization. You partner and communicate with stakeholders, while simultaneously working to connect the teams to users and the broader business.
This role will also be responsible for assisting with broader solutions area needs for tasks such as: prioritizing across team backlogs, strategic thinking and success metric analysis. You ensure releases are of high quality and implemented seamlessly by ensuring business readiness. You are committed to developing others and yourself to ensure the latest thinking and knowledge is integrated into the culture of the squad. Experienced resources have ability to adapt to change, anticipate and manage risk, data driven decision making, remove impediments and accelerate time-to-market with highest quality product!
Responsibilities:
Working business/system/data analysis experience in Operational Risk area.
Initiate the development process, documents project scope, product vision, prioritizes user stories, sets feature level priorities conducts demos and walkthroughs.
Holds themselves and Business Analysts accountable for writing stories/tasks that meet the Definition of Ready
Recommends and oversees process improvements pertaining to requirement analysis, Agile processes and progress tracking.
Has considerable business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards.
Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through analysis, review, advice, counsel or provided services.
Drive alignment of peer Product teams and coordinates with / understands Stakeholder priorities to act as the voice of the customer
Create, prioritize, and maintain a product backlog
Performs/oversees user acceptance testing to identify and remedy defects and approves final testing results.
Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts; allocates work.
Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define requirements, problems and develop innovative solutions.
Persuades and influences others through and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
6-10 years' experience in a IT Product Management
6-10 years of relevant Domain experience in Retail Credit Risk
5 years of Business/System/Data Analysis experience
Stakeholder Management
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree

$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
