Agile IT Synergy IT Operations Manager in Tampa, Florida

The successful candidate is responsible for providing programmatic lifecycle support to a Program Management Office (PMO) responsible for the modernization and sustainment of a 85,000 user Enterprise IT network. You will support the planning, acquisition, implementation, and continual service improvement of the IT environment used to deliver mission critical services across multiple security enclaves at multiple locations around the world.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with engineering team, IT support personnel, and end users’ to plan acquisition and implementation of future architectures for IT hardware, software, and services.

  • Monitor project implementation schedules.

  • Monitor delivery of hardware, licensing, and services, from the vendor, resolving issues, and coordinating fielding of hardware to the Enterprise.

  • Monitor project risk and developing/implementing mitigation strategies

  • Develop and managing professional relationships with industry partners

  • Monitor warranty expiration dates for PMO acquired IT hardware, software, and services, and make recommendations regarding warranty extensions or replacements.

  • Work with configuration management to insure software licensing is sufficient and to assess over/under utilization.

  • Perform budget and financial program reviews for annual appropriations

  • Prepare proposed budgets and spend plans to support sustainment of multiple Enterprise networks across the program lifecycle.

  • Participate in periodic Program Reviews in support of the PMO

  • Participate in team meetings across the organization.

    Experience/Qualifications:

    • DoD Top Secret security clearance required.
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in IT operations planning and/or project management.

  • Proven verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated experience conducting Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing budgets, tracking expenditure performance and preparing cost estimates for a PMO.

  • Familiarity with AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud services consumption model pricing highly desired.

  • Demonstrated detailed experience with Microsoft Excel. Specifically, sorting/filtering, and pivot tables.

  • Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications, such as, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing member of a team

  • Ability to handle multiple, complex and competing priorities and projects.

    Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems or related field.
