Job Summary:
This position is for an experienced Intune engineer to work in tandem with other highly skilled & experienced Intune Engineers supporting the day-to-day & transformational engineering activities within the Workplace Product Engineering team. The individual will work closely with all teams within the Endpoint Engineering organization to support all Intune related technologies, endpoints, and peripherals, as well as offer engineering support and guidance to all other support teams within the overall Technology organization.
Major Responsibilities:
Product owner the day-to-day engineering activities of all Intune policies & controls, endpoints, peripherals, and connectors and the main PoC for all project-related and transformation activities related to the Intune environment
Mentor and guide level 2 staff and provide SME advice on all network operations center problem calls
Create and maintain documentation for responsible technologies including diagrams, Runbooks, SOPs, TSS’s, end user guides, etc.
Implementing appropriate end-user and compliance-focused monitoring and creating automation to proactively send notifications for substantial compliance or UX degradation
Drive transformational change within the Intune environment based on user feedback, industry best practices, and with efficiency top of mind.
Continuously document and review recommended best practices to aide in continuous improvement and decreasing Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
Provide escalated technical support and training for Tier I and Tier II technical personnel.
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing service delivery and automating manual processes.
Contribute to current and future product development.
Provide timely, effective, clear, and concise communications.
Qualifications:
4-6 years’ experience with Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Configuration Manager)
Proficient and well versed in Microsoft Intune, Device Compliance, Device Configuration Profiles, ATP, Windows Defender Firewall rules, Defender Disk Encryption, M365, ASR, Conditional Access, Certifications, Edge Enterprise mode, Autopilot, ESP, Deployment profiles, Custom security profiles, DSC, PowerShell, PowerShell Modules, Custom roles, software administration, software packaging, software Deployments, Windows update Rings, Storage containers, Azure Active Directory, Active Directory, GPO, & Automation.
Ability to work well in a team environment while at the same time able to answer deliverable independently with slim deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to quickly and concisely articulate the issue and remediation strategies.
6-8 years supporting Windows OS, Windows Server, Networking, NetBIOS, and peripherals in an enterprise and distributed environment
Working knowledge of Print Server roles and functionality with experience with Follow-Me print a plus
4-5 years’ experience with Intune, Azure, AVD/W365, O365 administration and automation desirable.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience preferred
The typical base pay range for this role is between $101K - $150K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
